Am I CRAZY?

There was a day, or should I say..a couple of years, where I felt like I was going Crazy! I was emotional, I could laugh and cry in the same breath, I put weight on and if I was not depressed due to Hormones, I was depressed because I was "FAT!"
And then realized that I was Hypo-Thyroid! Ok! Now what??? I did my homework, got educated and went after it.. I got off the Synthetic Thyroid(on it for only 2 years) and back onto the Natural Thyroid.. I learned that when you do not have a Thyroid, the Synthetic did not work...and it didn't. I also incorporated an smart and aggressive Nutrition program..I found a supplement that works! With the correct Thyroid medication, Supplements and education, I found the solution and got results.

I had Thyroid Cancer at 23 years old, was on Natural for 19 years, the doctors put me on a Synthetic which threw me into Hypothyroid, and leveled out again when I went back on the Natural form of Thyroid. It has now been 33 years after cancer...

Hypothyroidism

When the thyroid gland is under-active, improperly formed at birth, surgically removed all or in part, or becomes incapable of producing enough thyroid hormone, a person is said to be hypothyroid. One of the most common causes of hypothyroidism is the autoimmune disease called Hashimoto's disease, in which antibodies gradually target the thyroid and destroy its ability to produce thyroid hormone.

Symptoms of hypothyroidism
usually go along with a slowdown in metabolism, and can include fatigue, weight gain, and depression, among others.

* The Hypothyroidism Risks/Symptoms Checklist reviews the key symptoms.
* Quiz: Could You Be Hypothyroid? is a self-test to help you identify risks and symptoms.

I am glad to say, I lost the weight, leveled out my hormones and got back to my normal active lifestyle 12 years ago..... Thankfully!

My message? When one behaves like they are Crazy, they just might be Hormonal...There are things you can do and you can go back to living a normal life. Please feel free to post any questions.

Here is to being level....
